Year 4 had a fantastic trip to Tullie House to learn about the Ancient Egyptians and how to solve crimes. During the Ancient Egyptian session, they learnt about mummification, hieroglyphics, life in Ancient Egypt and Egyptian Gods. They then found out about the ‘opening of the mouth ceremony’. In the afternoon, the children helped the Tullie House staff find out who had stolen a precious violin by gathering evidence and completing tasks to work out the culprit.
Have a look through the galleries below to see the activities they completed.
