Welcome to our Reading Blog

Welcome to our wonderful world of reading! Here at Monkwray we love to read and explore lots of books across all genres. Our school library is packed with relevant and recent children’s fiction, our book nook is a wonderful hive of activity and reading at break times and we love to share a book in class.

In order for us to be able to engage with reading independently, we do lots across school to make sure we are improving both our reading skills and our attitudes to reading. Our blog will provide a fantastic insight as to what we do to ensure all children are given the opportunities to exceed. Enjoy!
